Expect highly variable road conditions this morning because of overnight blowing and drifting snow. Winds could still gust up to around 35 mph this morning. The Winter Weather Advisory remains in place until 1pm. From early morning until about Noon another inch or less is possible, mainly north/northeast of Indy.
About 4 inches of total snow was measured overnight in West Lafayette, where there were also reports of ten inch drifts.
Early morning reports of around 5-7 inches in the South Bend area so far, with about another 4-6 inches likely through early afternoon. Winter storm warnings remain in place there until 7pm, with significant blowing and drifting.
