FINALLY an excuse to use this Dolly Parton picture that accidentally ended up on my hard drive. I’m about to be a part of the world of DollyWood…and Maryville and Townsend and Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and Cherokee and Asheville. (SOMEbody has been studying his maps.)
I’ll be contributing video weather segments to “SMOMO TV.” They are a TV/video and information network for those living, using, staying or visiting the Smoky Mountain Region. They produce content that is distributed on line and on broadcast television. The weather segments will use a process and a workflow I’ve developed in starting “Webcam Weather” this year in Crawfordsville, Noblesville, and Anderson. (Indiana.) This is the first roll-out in another state.
If you operate any sort of site or service that finds value in geo-targeted, personality-driven video weather, including embedded content from your advertisers–we’re always open for business at Studio B. Contact me here.
THANKS to everybody on the SMOMO TV side for the warm welcome, and I forecast an extended partnership.
P.S. I thought LAST winter was interesting, with the addition of South Bend’s Lake Effect snows to my world. Now I’m heading for the mountains. If the computer models and maps and charts fail..I may default to what scientists call “The Milsap Method.”
