The Weather Service in Northern Indiana had some reports of funnel clouds late Saturday afternoon. They appeared to happen because of a combo platter of a stalled upper level low pressure system above us, and relatively cool air aloft. These type of funnel clouds typically do not descend to the ground. On rare occasions they may touch down briefly, but do not usually do significant damage.
