Here’s the high temp chart for today. Should be a great weekend. A moisture-starved front will move through Saturday afternoon, so if we were to see a spotty shower or storm, that would be it. Check back Saturday morning for the latest thinking…for now, most will be dry. And it might stay dry through much of next week.
Notice how the front that went through here Wednesday Night is hung up heading eastward into circulation surrounding Irene. High pressure drifts over the state tonight.
Irene pounds North Carolina tomorrow. We’ll just deal with a weak cold front. That front will lower temperatures and humidity once again Sunday.
