A Wind Advisory is in place for much of the state this afternoon and tonight.
The chance for showers and storms jumps late tonight as the cold front approaches. There is a risk of severe weather after midnight tonight through Monday. Biggest threat will be damaging wind. Here are the risk areas from the Storm Prediction Center. The first map shows the biggest threat in NW Indiana from overnight through 7am Monday, and the second one covers Monday itself with the biggest threat coming in the south, south of the advancing cold front.
Temps will still be above average even with the showers and storms around Monday, but highs will fall back into the upper 40’s and low 50’s Tuesday.
