The biggest upcoming travel concerns will be icing late afternoon and early evening Monday north of I-70, and a little snow throughout the state Tuesday afternoon. Colder and dry today, with the exception of a few lake effect snow showers around South Bend. Partly to mostly cloudy. Highs in the 20’s.
Lows tonight won’t be quite as cold, with more clouds around.
The next storm approaches from the west mid to late Monday afternoon. If you are north of I-70 you may see a period of snow and/or sleet and or/freezing rain before all precip changes to rain from south to north by early to mid Monday evening.
Temps will stay steady above freezing overnight into Tuesday morning, then start falling Tuesday afternoon. The cold front hits the state line from the west around sunrise Tuesday, and moves through central Indiana by mid afternoon. Morning rain will change over to light snow as it is ending, so there could be minor snow accumulations Monday night.
