Blog Indiana’s description of my session. Man. I’m OLD.
BIN stands for Blog Indiana, and their annual event is coming soon. It’s a 2-day social media and blogging conference sponsored by the IU School of Informatics. It’s for anyone interested in new (social) media marketing and biz.
Over 25 sessions will be offered by the biggest Social Media Experts in Indiana. And, me too. Saturday morning August 21st at 8:45am. Here’s the description from the BIN site:
“Paul Poteet, Off The Cuff: Stories From 30 years of Indiana Radio, TV, and Online Broadcasting”
Radio, television, and online personality Paul Poteet shares stories from his roots as an Indianapolis weatherman and radio guy to his ever-growing network of online properties as well as how he manages everything without losing his mind.
Yeah, I’ve got some stories, and – luckily for you – I never signed anything to keep from telling them. Sign up now for the session by clicking here. I’m very happy that asked an once strictly Old Media guy to speak, and I’m equally happy that I finally found an excuse to use my pictures from Spring. I flew to Miami to speak to a national conference of Business School types about forecasting weather – and life – versus forecasting financials. Ain’t no party like a biz school party!
