The Indianapolis National Weather Service reports 11 days in July that had highs of 90 or hotter. The only times the highs were in the 70’s were the very first, and the very last days of the month. It got to 93 a couple of times; so far that’s the Peak for the Summer of 2010. There was only 2.87″ of rain reported for the month, which is 1.55″ below normal. Of course, many areas got more in a steadily stormy pattern that lasted much of the month. Here are some more facts and figures for the last week in August from Paul Poteet’s Indiana Weather Almanac. It’s produced by 12 Stars Media and sponsored by Hare Chevrolet.
