About an inch of snow is possible tonight from another clipper that will be moving faster than yesterday’s. It will have some colder air to work with also, so expect a faster accumulation, but it should end by the early overnight hours.
Indianapolis’ official snow total Saturday was 1.3 inches, and you can look at totals from around the state here. It ended up depositing 1-2 inches…closer to 1 in most places. Much of the daytime stuff melted quickly.
Still expecting a big storm to move out of the Rockies toward the Midwest Wednesday-Friday. It could start with a wintry mix here Wednesday evening, but right now it appears most of the state may see mostly rain Christmas Eve, changing over to snow on Christmas Day. Sloppy is the safest forecast so far.
