What a day. All computers I touched turned to whatever-is-the-opposite-of-gold. Nothing like a hard drive failure just before a, uh, hard drive that may be coming Friday on the roads. In addition to our main weather computer, I had some radio computer problems also this morning also. So if you’re a Smiley listener, no-I’m not mad at him, just wasn’t able to talk on the show as normal. Everything will work better tomorrow. Meanwhile, the Weather Service plans to upgrade the Advisory Area to a Winter Storm Warning for tonight. Still not expecting heavy snow…just 1-3 inches….but the ice won’t be nice. Slow down, and back up. (For all your drives.) Since I’ve been too busy to come up with original content today, here’s a funny email from a viewer:

Hi Paul,
Anyway, they also raise sheep. They always name the new babies and usually develop the names from some type of theme. In the past they’ve had flowers, candy and NASCAR racetracks to just name a few. This year they decided to do people who give us the news. The other morning, Truffle, had twins, so my parents named them Todd and Trisha since Truffle had a boy and a girl. Today, they missed the morning news and weather because they were in the barn delivering more babies. Peppermint Patty gave birth to twin boys, so they named them Paul and Poteet! J I had to share with you the good news and the new editions to the sheep barn. I thought you would enjoy it!
