WEDNESDAY UPDATE: Indianapolis never got past an inch, but amounts quickly increased to the north from the New Year’s Day snow. Here are some totals:
- 15.0″ Mishawaka
- 12.0″ Angola
- 5.0″ Marion
- 3.0″ Logansport
- 2.0″ Kokomo
UPDATE: South Bend’s New Year’s Day snowfall total late this afternoon is at 4 and a half inches. Marion, in northeast Indiana had 2 and a half. Indy’s had about a quarter of an inch. The snow showers will roll into the evening, but still no heavy snow expected. Wind chill this hour, according to the always trustworthy www.paulpoteet.com is a delightful (bracing?) (hangover curing?) 3 above, and that won’t improve much through Wednesday.
