Indiana’s Saturday snow will be generated by a couple of weather makers. One little clipper will make a move on us tonight, and then merge with a big time storm moving out of the Gulf and up the East Coast Saturday. It will throw back some moisture in our direction. Because of the positioning, the best snow chances Saturday will be in the eastern third of the state. It still looks like an inch or two across Indiana by the time it tapers off late Saturday afternoon.
A foot of snow could fall in some of the warning areas to the east. We don’t have any warnings or advisories, but it will probably be sloppy shopping this pre-Christmas weekend. Sunday looks dry, although there may be a little light snow late Sunday night into Monday morning.
A chance of BIG SNOW does remain on….Christmas Eve! It could start as early as Wednesday night. It could also be a rain/ice mix. Too early to know, but it does look like the weather will be active just before Santa is.
