An EF1 tornado with an estimated wind of 100 mph struck Boone County Thursday afternoon, according to a National Weather Service storm survey.
The first report of severe weather out of the county came from State Police reporting a funnel cloud at 3:11 PM from two miles northwest of Lebanon.
At 3:26 officers relayed that the tornado was on the ground near 800E and 300S. At 3:32 a funnel cloud was sighted a half mile northeast of county roads 800E and 500S.
No injuries were reported, but there was some damage. Here’s a roundup of pictures tweeted.
