FRIDAY UPDATE: Another record set today in Indianapolis, again by one degree. The official temperature reached 81 at 2:43. The old record of 80 was set on 1967 and 1963.
(PREVIOUS INFO):
The Indianapolis high temperature Thursday broke a record, and we’re likely to at least tie one on again Friday.
It officially reached 82 just before 3pm, beating the old mark of 81, set in 1963. The record high for Friday is 80, also set in 1963, and again in 1967. My forecast for Indy is for the low 80’s again.
A front approaches, bringing a chance of showers and storms Saturday from late morning through early evening. Timing is good for the sun to return Easter Sunday, with highs in the lower 70’s. Paul Po Peep out.
