How dry is it? Since April Indy’s had less than half the normal precipitation total. It’s the driest such stretch in over 90 years. There wasn’t much rain with yesterday’s cold front. Most of it was to the north and northeast. High pressure noses again behind the front and the sun is strong again today. Meanwhile: in the upper atmosphere: a big trough digs into the West Coast. A big ridge will form in response over the Northern Plains and Midwest. The heat will be on again for Indiana! INDY SEVEN DAY FORECAST Today: Sunny, warmer, but still not humid. Wind: E/NE 5-10 mph.
