A couple rounds of rain today. THe first batch will be in the earlier morning, and is most likely Indy northward. Another batch of scattered showers and storms will start popping across the state in the early afternoon. The afternoon storms will gradually slide to the southeast, and should be mostly clear of central Indiana by sunset. The piece of upper air energy setting off showers and storms today will be gone tonight. Any showers or storms Sunday and Monday should be confined to the afternoon, and be of the pop-up variety. Gradually the upper air pattern will put a lid on the storm development, so the chance is even smaller Monday, and not there Tuesday. Meanwhile: the remnants of Alberto will move up from the Gulf to the Midwest by midweek, soaking us by Wednesday.
