Indiana’s Weather For Tuesday

December 5, 2017

Time for a cool change. These are the afternoon highs today. (Click to enlarge.)

And here is the reason why. (Because cold front.)

Ah…but isn’t there ANOTHER cold front still to come? Yep. You’ll feel it Thursday. And you’ll probably see light accumulation of snow on Saturday. We’ve got a clipper passing through, and a system to the south that day.

For this week, the big snows are off the Lakes. See that “11” in the U.P.? That’s near where Mrs. P is from.

Yesterday’s high was 65 in Indy. My forecast was 63.

The average high today is 42 and the average low is 27. Records are 70 (2001) and 8 (1886). The sun rises at 7:51am and sets at 5:21pm.

Today: Mostly to partly cloudy. West wind gusting to 35 mph. High 42.

Tonight: Wind diminishes, clearing and much colder. Low 25.
Wednesday: Partly to mostly sunny, with a few flurries. Wind gusting to 25 mph. High 42.
Wednesday Night: Mostly clear. Low 21.
Thursday: Mostly to partly sunny. High 30.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy. Low 19.
Friday: Partly cloudy. High 32.

Friday Night: Snow showers. Low 20.

Saturday: Snow showers, mainly in the morning. Partly sunny. High 29.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy. Low 18.

Sunday: Partly sunny. High 37.

Sunday Night: Partly cloudy. Low 25.
