Up to a half-inch of rain may fall Wednesday.

The next big (and bigger) thing is a deep area of low pressure that will drag a cold front through the state either Saturday morning or midday. Expect winds gusting to 40 mph Friday night and Saturday morning. Temps may fall into the 40s by Saturday afternoon. Stay tuned.

This system will be wetter. Some places in the state could see an inch.
