FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT /7 PM CDT/ THIS EVENING... The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a * Flash Flood Watch for portions of northern Indiana and northwest Ohio, including the following areas, in northern Indiana, Adams, Allen IN, Blackford, Cass IN, De Kalb, Elkhart, Fulton IN, Grant, Huntington, Jay, Kosciusko, La Porte, Marshall, Miami, Noble, Pulaski, St. Joseph IN, Starke, Wabash, Wells, and Whitley. In northwest Ohio, Allen OH, Paulding, Putnam, and Van Wert. * Until 8 PM EDT /7 PM CDT/ this evening * Showers and thunderstorms are expected across northern Indiana and portions of northwest Ohio. These storms may travel several times over the same locations. Rainfall of 2 to 4 inches is expected today, with localized amounts of 5 inches. Runoff from this very heavy rainfall will likely lead to some flash flooding.
