Indiana’s Weather For Friday

May 19, 2017

Recurring rounds of rumbles today.

Computer modeling (via WeatherBELL; click to enlarge) shows one batch in the morning drive hours, then a pause, then another round of rain in the mid to late afternoon. (The animation covers 5am-10pm.) You can see the blue (depicting snow) in Colorado and Wyoming.

It won’t rain all day Saturday, but there is a chance all day, adding some drama to qualifications for the “500.” There is a marginal-to-slight risk of severe weather today and Saturday.

Indiana could see another two inches of rainfall through Sunday.

Yesterday’s high was 85 in Indy. My forecast was 85.

The average high today is 74 and the average low is 54. Records are 90 (1977) and 32 (2002). The sun rises at 6:27am and sets at 8:57pm.
