Indiana’s Weather For Sunday

May 7, 2017

Enjoy the all-day sunshine today, because more than an inch of rain is going to fall in the coming week. (Click charts to enlarge.)

That’s on top of the eight-ish inches we’ve seen in the last two weeks. Here’s the chart of estimated rainfall from the last two weeks, showing a wide swath of 6-8 inch totals from around Hamilton and Marion counties back to Hendricks county, and to the west and southwest.

Yesterday’s high was 62 in Indy. My forecast was 58.

The average high today is 70 and the average low is 50. Records are 87 (1926) and 31 (1974). The sun rises at 6:38am and sets at 8:46pm.
