Indiana’s Weather For Friday

May 5, 2017

Temps in Indiana will stay below average for at least another week. Here’s the 6-10 day chart.

The big storm system will finally rotate away to the east and northeast by afternoon, but Friday starts raw and rainy again. This computer projection via WeatherBELL runs from 5am to 10pm Friday. You folks in Lafayette and Terre Haute get a bit of a break today.

See that “L” on today’s map in Minnesota? That’s another, weaker wave diving southward with one more round of rain overnight tonight into Saturday morning. Running the Mini? Be ready for some showers, a northwest wind up to 10 mph, and temps in the low 40s.

Yesterday’s high was 48 in Indy. My forecast was 55.

The average high today is 70 and the average low is 49. Records are 92 (1952) and 35 (1973, 1957, 1907). The sun rises at 6:41am and sets at 8:44pm.

Today: Rainy morning. Chance of showers in the afternoon. Wind gusting to 35 mph. High 51.

Tonight: Cloudy. Showers after midnight. Low 40.

Saturday: Morning showers. Mostly cloudy afternoon. High 57.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy. Low 36.
Sunday: Sunny. High 58.
Sunday Night: Clear. Low 38.
