Indiana’s Weather For Monday

April 17, 2017

Welcome to the new week. It’s not going to snow, or even go below freezing, but there’s a definite dip ahead heading into NEXT weekend, after an Easter Weekend that included the warmest temps of the year Saturday.

The next storm chance comes Wednesday, and the early projection is for a marginal severe storm risk in the northern part of Indiana.

That risk might spread into central Indiana as a system approaches Thursday. (It will also usher in the cooler air.)

Yesterday’s high was 75 in Indy. My forecast was 72.

The average high today is 64 and the average low is 43. Records are 87 (1896) and 19 (1875). The sun rises at 7:04am and sets at 8:26pm.

Today: Partly to mostly cloudy. East wind 5-10 mph. High 72.

Tonight: Clearing. Low 48.

Wednesday: Partly to mostly cloudy, with scattered showers and storms. High 78.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy. Low 64.
