Wind Advisory Thursday

The severe weather threat is now over for central Indiana, and we can move right along to wind chills below freezing Thursday! The chart attached shows computer modeling of Thursday afternoon temperatures. (Via WeatherBELL.) There is also a Wind Advisory in place. Details follow, via NWS:

..WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM TO 8 PM EDT THURSDAY…

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 5 AM to 8 PM EDT Thursday.

* TIMING…Winds will increase during the morning with the highest
gusts expected during the afternoon.

* WINDS…Sustained winds near 30 mph with gusts near 50 mph
possible.

* IMPACTS…Loose objects will be blown around. Driving will
become difficult for some vehicles, especially on east west
roads.
