Indiana’s Weather For Monday

April 3, 2017

Showers and thunderstorms should start popping after 3 or 4pm this afternoon in central Indiana and dissipate again around sunset. (Charts via WeatherBELL depicting 3pm and 8pm.)

The first round of showers early Monday only put down a couple of hundredths of an inch. Heavier rain could fall today, and there’s a marginal risk of severe weather in the southern part of the state. The risk will be higher with the next storm system Wednesday. It’s a “slight” chance for most of central Indiana.

Today: A period of showers in the morning, then another round of showers and storms later in the afternoon. South wind gusting to 30 mph. High 66.

Tonight: Showers and storms. Low 52.

Tuesday Night: Cloudy. Showers and storms after midnight. Low 44.
