Look at this chart of upcoming record highs in Indy for the last day of September, and the first five of October. I suspect at least one of those is going down…as we go up.
As the warm and muggy air pushes in, we could see a few spotty showers or storms Friday and Saturday. There is another chance later tonight and Thursday morning. No widespread “big” rain events are on the horizon I’m afraid. A new “drought monitor” will be released tomorrow, and we’ll see if the area is expanding.
In the meantime: enjoy a pretty nice Fall day. Three months ’til Christmas!
