This afternoon’s storms have a marginal risk of becoming severe over most of central Indiana. The biggest threat is gusty winds. Today’s weather is being driven by an upper level trough in the Midwest. Here are a couple of short-term snapshots taking us from Noon through Midnight, via Weatherbell. Storms will fire again Thursday afternoon, this time fueled by a surface cold front. There is another marginal risk of severe weather in the norther half of the state.
