Hundreds of thousands of people will be sweating in the ‘stands Sunday. The basic forecast hasn’t changed through the holiday weekend.
Will it be enough to swing the month? Right now we’re running 2.8 degrees below typical May temperatures. The remaining seven days will all be above average.

Sooooooo the severe weather risk stays generally west of central Indiana. These charts show (l-r) Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Yellow here indicates a slight risk, gold is enhanced, darker green is marginal, lighter green is just general thunderstorms.
The upper level pattern will gradually become less favorable for organized severe storms this weekend. Around here the general chance of precipitation should also fall this weekend, to the point where I think we are just looking at afternoon shower and storm chances Race Day and Memorial Day.
