Perfect weather day for politics: we’ve got spin! It’s in the middle and upper part of the atmosphere; just enough for some spotty showers today. There’s a better chance of showers and storms after midnight tonight and into Wednesday with the arrival of a cold front.
You know the symbol for “omega?” The weather pattern keeping us cool is called an Omega Block, and you can see why with the middle atmospheric chart below. There was one of these in place a few weeks ago, but the ridge in the middle was over us. This time: we’re on the cool side until the Block breaks Friday.
The Mini still looks good, but there’s a shadow hanging over Saturday Night as a cold front may drop in from the north with scattered showers. Stay tuned.
