Stray showers will start mixing with some snow flakes after 2pm around Indy. Here’s a computer projection via weatherbell.com of 5pm temps. It’s possible we could see a quick dusting tonight and early tomorrow, especially north and northeast of Indy. SUPER SNOW It still looks like a 5-7 inch snowfall from later Saturday evening into very early Monday morning. Totals this time look a little lower up to the north from Lafayette over to Muncie. The biggest “official” snow so far in Indy has been two inches this season, but we’ve had seven inch storms already to the north in Hamilton, Madison, and Delaware counties. Here’s a couple of projections, first from our friendly neighbors to the North in Canada: And from the American model: The European computer model has more moisture, but indicates some of it could arrive in a form other than snow. BTW: Remember the numbers on these maps assume a 10:1 ratio of moisture:snow. That will be higher as temps fall later Sunday afternoon and then tank Sunday night.
