A big-time upper level low pressure system will pull in cold air for Halloween through the weekend. Showers are likely Friday, mixing with and changing to snow showers Friday evening. There will also be a strip of Lake Effect Snow west of South Bend and stretching southward.
From 4-8pm Friday temps will fall from around 40 to around 35. Chills will range from around 30 to around 25. Nasty northwest winds could gust to 30 mph. Charlie Brown will have the stability advantage, thanks to the rocks.
Running the Monumental Saturday morning? Winds will still be gusting to 20 mph from the northwest and north, yielding chills in the low 20s.
