The precipitation-neglected North side finally got a shot at showers Friday. This chart zooms into areas that saw more than an inch of rain to finish the week, including Broad Ripple and Castleton. Rain was also on the heavier side between Zionsville and Carmel, and Noblesville over to Anderson. Click here for a full-size version of the chart.
And those soakers also socked some of the south siders. Mike Hartman from Franklin told me on Facebook: “After only 0.35 inches since May 1 we actually got 0.60 in the last 25 mins in the old homestead rain gauge.”
Meanwhile, from @RomanRedf1 on Twitter: @PaulPoteet if I had known that going out to @IMS would bring rain, would have gone out there along time ago!
