As this map shows, a cold front (Yes, it’s a relative term) drops southward across Indiana Tuesday.
As our next map shows: It’ll move back up north of us Wednesday as a warm front. So the temperature will whipsaw between really hot and REALLY REALLY hot.
Today’s clouds and storm chances should keep most of central Indiana to the low 90s. Smaller chances and taller temps around Bloomington and Terre Haute, where there’s already a HEAT ADVISORY.
The sun will be stronger statewide Wednesday, and a HEAT ADVISORY is already in place for all of the central Indiana, with humidity high and more triple digit temperatures expected.
More severe weather is possible Thursday from the front you see on this final map.
