Let me be a good weather host and make you comfortable. It’s gonna be a nice day! Dew point temperatures will be closer to the upper 50s and 60 instead of the mid 60s, and that means less humidity. Hey, it would be a great day to run 13.1 miles, right?
That Indianapolis dew point fell to the low 60s at 9pm Saturday as the skies cleared and the “Super Moon” came out. I’ve attached a pic of the Super stuff, from Twitter friend “@SusanWagener” in Bloomington.
Speaking of Bloomington: the humidity today will still be higher in the southern third of the state.
Rain and storms are coming tomorrow, with a slight risk of severe weather in the afternoon and early evening. Tuesday – Primary Day – should be dry, but there will still be some mud thrown.
I’ve had some folks ask online recently: “safe to plant yet?” My personal rule-of-not-so-green-thumb is Mother’s Day. That should work this year. We’ve got some night’s in the 40s later next work week but nothing sub-freezing is on the horizon. The last official day below 32 in Indianapolis was on April 11…and YES, that’s early.
