All kinds of outdoor events this morning. I’ll be running the TalkWalkRun for “Hear Indiana” at Ft. Harrison, there is an MS Walk at Military Park Downtown, and of course the big ol’ Mutt Strut at IMS for Humane Society Indianapolis.
Biggest threat for heaviest/steadiest rain is 10am-noon in Indy today.
The showers should start to diminish in the mid to late afternoon, although a slight chance will remain through the evening. Storms will probably be a threat in the afternoon, and mainly to the south of Indianapolis. Temps will go from the mid 40s in the morning to around 50 by 11am to the mid 50′s by about 2pm. The wind will be from the east between 10 and 15 mph, so the wind chill could be as low as 40 in the morning. Severe storms are even possible this afternoon in the southern third of Indiana.
Crazy spread in temps today with a frontal system around. The high in South Bend will be 46. It should get to 78 in Evansville. Warmer days return next week. Don’t be scared by the icons in the 7 Day Forecast. Those won’t be all day rains. Biggest chances next week are on Monday and Thursday.

POLLEN COUNT:
Pollen concentrations for Saturday fall significantly into the “Moderate” range. Credit rising humidity and rain washing pollen out of the air. The levels will return to “Medium/High” Sunday and Monday.
