Back when I was on WTPI radio in the mid 80′s I had the comics who were playing Crackers Comedy Club come in to the studio. They goofed around with me on the air every week. The relationship led the Crackers management talking ME into emceeing at the old Keystone At The Crossing location for several years.
When Tom Davis and I did “Off The Cuff” we also utilized the touring comics at Crackers. History, as it does, repeated itself. The current manager of Crackers wanted Tom and I to come out and perform on stage. I have a later curfew now, so I’m going first. I’m emceeing this week for headliner Brian Dunkleman. Show times are 8:30pm Wed & Thu, and 2 shows Fri & Sat at 8 & 10:30pm. Here’s some info. You can even buy tickets directly from that link. Wow–this business has changed since 1989. I better not do my “yuppie” jokes, or my “Mayor Hudnut” material.
