Today's Map

Wednesday Evening Map

High pressure drifts across Indiana this afternoon and this evening. Winds will be lighter and the sky will be brighter. The sun makes a cameo appearance, and hits the road by tomorrow.

Our next storm will draw from low pressure to the south, and a pair of cold front that will clear the state by New Years Eve night. I’m throwing a flag on the field for Wednesday night, when rain and/or snow and/or freezing rain is possible from Indy southward. It should stay all snow to the north of Indy, where a 1-3 inch total is possible by late Thursday morning. Right now, I would say it’s looking to stay on the low end of that range.

The last thing you want on New Years Eve is Ryan Seacrest. Nah, just kidding. The last thing you want is any kind of precip falling. Looks ok this year…. just cold and dry and probably breezy.
